I loved the discussion we had around this book. It seemed no matter what age students we were teaching, we were all concerned about the diminishing time for unstructured, playful learning. I was reminded of a scene in the movie "The Dead Poets Society" about an all boys high-school where an English teacher (played by Robin Williams) takes the boys on the soccer field and makes them kick a ball while reciting poetry. I continue wondering how to develop activities beneficial to the kinesthetic learners in my class.

This book sent chills down my spine. Great choice for February. Reading it during the last few cold days definitely amplified the psychological effect. The last sentence was worth waiting for.
